First Star teamed with XXIst Century Digital Boy Soft to develop and co-publish the original Boulder Dash® for Danger’s hiptop/Sidekick II SmartPhones, including the original 16 different caves and 4 bonus intermission caves for each of 5 levels of difficulty!  A best-selling title for Danger and featured by T-Mobile upon it’s release in January of 2005; we released Boulder Dash®-Panic!™ for  hiptop/Sidekick SmartPhones in March of that same year.

Boulder Dash®-Panic!™ is the first game in the Boulder Dash® series to incorporate ‘3-in-a-row’ matching as a core game-play element….just imagine Bejeweled™ meets Boulder Dash®!!! As groups are matched, diamonds are removed and gravity causes items to fall and fill-in empty spaces whilst the program generates additional objects e.g. diamonds, boulders, bombs, power-ups, etc. to take their place.  Players can select Easy, Normal or Arcade modes, in all cases having access to the Store in which to purchase extra bombs, jackhammers, more powerful bombs, even extra lives!
